It is a regional branch of the International Fair Trade Association (IFAT), composed of members from the Latinamerican region. Its main objective is the development of the principles of Fair Trade in the region the enhancement of new markets and the creation of a base for the achievement of a more effective performance in the building and interaction of networks among the members.
